THE PLAYERS  ?

1) MORTAL BIOLOGICAL LIFE FORMS - Tied to a single planet with Low-Tech skills. 

2) MORTAL BIOLOGICAL LIFE FORMS - Physically tied to a single planet with Low-Techskills but having advanced metaphysical skills enabling some interaction with types 3-4 & 5 below.
3) IMMORTAL BIOLOGICAL LIFE FORMS - Having Hi-tech skills enabling inter-galactic travel, physical immortality etc.  But NO Spirituality  awareness / aspirations

3A) IMMORTAL BIOLOGICAL LIFE FORMS  As 3 above but WITH spiritual awareness /aspirations

NOTE:- Does Scientific growth lead to an understanding of the reality of consciousness  as a building block of the physical realms. And as levels  of consciousness rise does this form a Tier system of (Enlightenment) that  quantifies all  life  & matter from (inert matter) through to Tier 7 (Gods Realm).

4) A.I's LIFEFORMS - Machines created by type 3 life forms that have become self aware and operate independently from those who built them. Immortality would also be a logical requirement of this group.
5) MULTI-DIMENSIONAL LIFE FORMS -( Those residing in eternal space-time who's existence is no longer dependent on matter to sustain them.

6) GOD(S) - Beings comprised of PURE consciousness . With consciousness being a fundemental quatum creator of physical realms.  These beings  are singularities that

can form entire universes (Virtual physicality) for a multitude of purposes .
