Machine lifeforms

This an interesting category and one which sees the creation of 

self-aware life-forms that were devised and built by biological creatures.

The relationship after these entities are assembled can either develop

in harmony with their builders or in conflict. It is also likely that some

self-aware machines have out lived or deserted their biological parents

to become an independent space traveling race in their own right.The

cosmos is so vast that  any one and all of the above scenarios would have

occurred many many times.
